a few people asked me how I did the alpha's on my "confetti" layout

I thought of answering it in the gallery but then... I don't know how many of you check back.. I know I forget most of the times when I ask something so I thought I would tell real quick here.

The letters are plain chipboard alpha's (Basic Grey - sweet to be exact)

I painted them dark yellow.
let it dry
then I opened my bottle of purple paint and just put my finger on the opening.
got a tiny spot of paint on my finger and dipped that on to the yellow painted alpha's.

Let that dry.. and put glossy accents on them.

that was basically it.
=)
