Altered Journal Cards

What can you do with all of those journal cards that are stacking up in your scrap room?

Our team received this die cut in the August Main kit



It's very cute, but the shape takes up a lot of space on the layout. I really liked the message, but could not fit it on the layout that I wanted to use it for. So...I sliced off the edges of the die cut and used a corner punch to round the edges. Then I took a couple of the sliced off parts and incorporated them in my design. It gave it a totally different feel and worked really well with my squared layout.



Please feel free to share some of your ideas to alter journal cards in this thread smile.gif
