3-d Flowers

To make 3-D flowers like these........



All you need are a few supplies. I used punches for the smaller flower and the spoons I traced around to make the petal shapes on the larger flower.


After I have my flowers punched out, I cut each petal apart. I like gluing two layers together as I think it make the petals more sturdy. You could also emboss the petals for added texture.


For the flower centers I simply cut a strip of paper and cut multiple slits in it like eyelashes.


I then roll the piece of paper and wrap with sticky tape.


I layer each petal like so......adding more sticky tape if needed. Once all the petals are attached, curl & shape as desired.



Here you can see the depth of the flower. These work very well tucked into photo frames and other altered art projects. Simply attach with glue dots or use a hot glue gun. (Note: these are much too bulky to use on scrapbook pages)
